Sixth Annual 2009 Tournament

The 6th Annual Tori Carswell Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at the Canadian Golf and Country Club. The $ raised this year was a whoppping $32,115! This money was donated to Tori’s Helping Hand, which is a program within the Candlelighters’ Amenities Fund.

As luck would have it, the sun shone down on us and we had no rain. The golfers came in hot and tired, but everyone had a great time. The dinner was wonderful as usual, and the evening was lots of fun, thanks to our new MC, JR from The TEAM 1200. Gerry Watkins, Tori's Grandmother rounded off the evening with a wonderful speech about Tori and all the people who were our 'helping hands' during the time Tori was sick.
