This time, Tori's Helping Hand was chosen to be the charity for the night. The event was their most successful to date. They managed to bring in $420 for the cause as well as promoting a lot of awareness. A big thanks goes out to RMB Social Committee (Richard, Katie, Katie & Matthew) and to Karen Hanna for nominating the charity.

Rick and Linda Oswick, Kim's parents, held a wonderful golf tournment which raised an amazing $22,600. GAL Power Systems owned by Guy & Sylvia Lapierre, who are Kim's God Parents, hosted the event. All the proceeds from the tournament were donated to Tori’s Helping Hand. The fundraiser which was held at the Arnprior Golf Club was called Kim Oswick Hearts of Hope. Air Canada

In November 2006, Tori's Helping Hand was fortunate enough to receive a $20,000 donation from Air Canada. In 2006, Air Canada won a $10M dollar lawsuit with West Jet, and with the settlement, they graciously decided to donate it to children and youth's charities across Canada. Jay Foley, an Air Canada employee and the golf tournament's photographer applied for Tori's Helping Hand to be a recipient of some of this money. We were thrilled to learn that our charity had been chosen as one of the recipients. Thanks Air Canada and Jay! For more information about Air Canada and the money they donated go to: Air Canada News Releases. The charity is listed as Candlelighters Childhood Support Programs Inc.
